The founding contract was signed on 7th April, 1999. Active marketing of life insurance services commenced in January 2000.The main activities of Sampo Life are the concluding and managing of insurance contracts – life insurance with investment risk, capital insurance with secured interest and life insurance coverage.
The company has more than 40 000 customers in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The market share in the Baltic is about 15 %.
